Pavapuri Free Eye Checkup Camp January 2012

Shri Pavapuri Tirth - Jeev Maitridham, Krishnaganj, Dist. Sirohi, Rajasthan.

Facilities by the Organiser:

Registration service, food, accommodation, free operation and transportation facility for patients who were qualified for the surgery.

Doctor's Facility:

Eye specialists and doctors from Bombay City Eye Institute and Research Centre, Mumbai volunteered and offered to examine as well as operate.

5, 6 And 7 January Program:

Within 2 days a total of 400 cataract patients were examined out of which 82 patients were operated. Also, many of our patients were provided free glasses as per their eye number. 52 patients out of 82 were selected for the first round of operation and remaining 30 for the second round. The operation was carried at Global Hospital Abu Road by Dr Saumil Kothari who is an eye specialist from Mumbai.
